Copy Cat

Drew loves to copy the noises that Jason and I make. The other day, for example, I took Drew and Lucy for a walk. Well, I had Lucy's leash on the handle of the stroller. Lucy loves birds. She loves to chase birds. In fact, she's even caught and killed a bird mid-air (or so I was told by Jason's dad). So when a mockingbird dove right in front of us and I saw her ears perk up and her hind legs begin to crouch I shrieked. The next thing I know Drew "shrieks" too, in the exact same tone that I did. (Lucy got the point very quickly).

I tried to get a video of him copying some of the noises he likes to make, but of course he wouldn't cooperate quite as well as her normally does. BUT, keep watching because he will surprise you by making a noise he has yet to really make. He surprised ME for sure!



He has yet to do it again, but it certainly made my day, and I can't believe I caught it on camera!
