Don't be deceived, though....

Jason is not a bad dad at all; in fact, he's a natural at this. He gets right on Drew's level and "chats"- whether he's narrating what he's doing in a sing-songy voice or just imitating Drew's noises, it's fun to watch them interact.  I missed basketball time the other day though... and I think I'm glad I did!  A large ball the size of my son bouncing around next to him doesn't sound like something I want to see (even though obviously Drew is just fine).
